Spa Underwear Collection: Sustainable Comfort with Modal Our spa underwear collection is crafted from premium Micro-Modal, a natural and sustainable fabric derived from beech trees, selected for its luxurious softness, breathability, and eco-friendly profile. Unlike cotton, which has a considerable environmental footprint, Modal production requires significantly less water and fewer resources. For instance, while a single cotton shirt can require up to 10,000 litres of water, Modal uses approximately 1 litre per 100 kg of fabric. This makes Modal an ideal choice for single-use spa items, offering a responsible solution that reduces waste and resource consumption. Additionally, the harsh realities of conventional cotton production reveal a troubling ethical and social cost. In India alone, thousands of farmers tragically lose their lives each year due to the crushing debt burden created by falling cotton prices and the high costs of pesticides, insecticides, and fertilisers required for cotton cultivation.
